Helpful Hint
Bunker Beach is a smoke-free facility and, for safety reasons, no personal lawn chairs, coolers, or outside food and beverage are allowed inside the facility.

Safety Rules

For Your Safety and Enjoyment

Bunker Beach Tube RentalGeneral Facility

  1. All persons entering the facility, including spectators, will be required to pay the daily fee.
  2. No coolers or outside food are allowed inside the facility. A concession stand
    and picnic tables are located in the water park for your convenience. Additional tables are provided outside the facility for picnicking.
  3. Water toys, sand toys, noodles, water wings, tubes, balls, masks, snorkels,and fins are not allowed into Bunker Beach. Sand toys will be provided in the sand play area.
  4. U.S. Coast Guard approved life jackets are allowed as long the children in lifejackets are accompanied by direct parental supervision. Life jackets will not be allowed on any of the slides.
  5. A paying adult must accompany children under the age of 12.
  6. Bunker Beach is a tobacco free facility.
  7. No pets of any kind, except dogs assisting individuals with disabilities, are permitted inside the facility.
  8. Patrons must shower before entering the pool for the first time or after playing in the sand volleyball or sand play areas.
  9. No person with or suspected of having a communicable disease which could be transmitted through the use of the pools shall use the pools.
  10. Certified lifeguards are on duty. Patrons must follow all lifeguard instructions.
  11. No glass containers or breakable objects of any kind are allowed in the facility.
  12. In the event of an electrical storm, the pool and deck areas must be cleared immediately. Please listen for instructions from Bunker Beach staff.
  13. For the safety of guests at Bunker Beach, running inside the facility is not allowed.
  14. The actions and conduct of an organized group are the responsibility of the group leader(s).
  15. Any behavior, language or activity, that endangers the welfare of patrons, is prohibited.
  16. If you have any trash in your area, please pick it up and put it in the appropriate containers around the facility.
  17. Rental locks are available at the tube shack for the lockers provided or you can bring your own lock. Bunker Beach is not responsible for lost, damaged or stolen items.
  18. If Bunker Beach reaches capacity, season pass holders will have priority entry over daily admissions as space becomes available.

Water Walk

  1. Wait for lifeguard permission to cross.
  2. When crossing the floating pads always continue to move forward and do not stop or move backwards.
  3. If you fall off swim to the nearest ladder and exit quickly.

Bunker Beach Wave PoolWave Pool

  1. Everyone must enter and exit the wave pool through the shallow section.
  2. Standing and jumping on inner tubes is prohibited. There is a roped-off ledge that extends all the way around the water. Please stay off this ledge at all times.
  3. There is only one person allowed per tube. Please do not let your friends hang on the sides of your tube. Also, there is no tipping or stealing of tubes allowed.
  4. Any patron in possession of an inner tube, that he/she did not rent, may be dismissed from the park.
  5. The waves run on a computerized cycle of 15 minutes on and 10 minutes off throughout the day and they are shut off during emergency situations.
  6. All patrons must stay completely out of the wave pool during safety break
  7. There is a red line across the 3-foot section of the pool. If you are not an excellent swimmer, do not go past this line.
  8. For your safety, while the waves are in motion, we ask that you keep your hands and feet out of the gutters and off the sides of the pool.

Sand Play

  1. You must wash all sand off hands and feet before leaving sand play area.
  2. All sand play toys must remain in sand play area.
  3. Keep all food and beverage out of sand play area

Bunker Beach Water SlidesWater Slides

  1. Waterslide attendant must be obeyed at all times.
  2. Guests must be 48" tall to ride the water slides.
  3. One slider at a time; no chains.
  4. Parents of small children are not allowed to take them down the water slide on their lap or catch them at the bottom of the slide.
  5. Stay seated or laying down in the flume; no stopping. Riders must go down feet-first.
  6. Upon exiting the slide, move out of the splash down and move immediately to the steps.
  7. Tubes should be ridden in a seated position, leaning back, sitting forward. Do not stand up or ride on the tube on your stomach.
  8. Only one inner tube can enter the flume at one time.
  9. Riders must stay in tube during ride. If you accidentally fall out of the tube, continue down the flume without it, and exit normally.

Bunker Beach Adventure PoolAdventure Pool

  1. No running on or around water play unit.
  2. Valves and handles are accessible to allow children and adults to throttle and play with the water. We encourage you and your children to turn, pull, and open these valves and have fun with the water effect you create.
  3. No head first sliding on slides.
  4. No climbing on pipes or handrails.
  5. No hanging or swinging on pull ropes.

Refund Policy
If the pools are closed for over an hour due to inclement weather, guests who purchased a daily admission less than two hours before the pool was initially closed and can produce a receipt will receive a voucher to return on another day. Daily admission holders who have been at Bunker Beach over two hours before the pools are closed will not be given a voucher. No cash refunds are given. Refunds will not be given on daily vehicle permits regardless of weather.
